Top in our Category, and Overall!

BaselineES was the recipient of two awards today for our energy efficiency work with grocery retailer Giant Food. The awards were presented at a service provider recognition luncheon hosted by the Pepco and Delmarva Power Energy Savings for Business Programs. Laura Carpenter, Manager of Energy Services, attended the event and accepted the 2018 Top Overall Service Provider for Mechanical & Efficient Equipment award on behalf of our company. She was also presented with a Certificate of Achievement recognizing BaselineES for being a Top Three Custom & New Construction Energy Saver in 2018.

BaselineES Recognized as a Top Service Provider

We’re proud to announce that BaselineES was awarded as the Top Service Provider in the Custom and New Construction category of the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program for 2018. This year, our team completed 12 custom projects with Giant Food in Maryland to improve the energy efficiency of their refrigeration systems. Our projects helped the grocery chain reduce its electricity consumption by nearly 2.4 million kWh per year, and by working with the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program, we were able to obtain over $280,000 in utility incentives to support Giant’s investment in energy efficiency. Join us IAQ & Energy 2018

BaselineES is pleased to be sponsoring the upcoming Indoor Air Quality & Energy Conference, presented by the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council, on May 1-2 in Portland, ME.  The program will cover topics ranging from indoor environmental contaminants, and building design and construction, to energy efficiency and high-performance buildings.  For the first time this year, participants can attend in-person or attend online.  Either way, we hope you will join us!

We’re pleased to have been able to assist WinterKids in raising $277,000 to help kids develop healthy life long habits through education and outdoor winter activities, and had a lot of fun while we were at it!  A great event all around!

A brand new Baseline!

Well, not really, but we are pleased to reveal our new logo and announce another significant change to our business.  Our company has been growing steadily over the last several years and we recently moved to a new, roomier facility located in Yarmouth, Maine, just minutes from Portland, the state’s premier city.

Our new address is 74 Bayview St., Yarmouth, ME 04096, with a new office phone number of 207.847.3212, and a new fax number of 207.847.3234.

Baseline's New Yarmouth OfficeThe new Yarmouth office facility gives us more space for hosting meetings, for training, and for our new remote facility performance monitoring center. Our stone’s throw proximity to Portland and the Maine Turnpike will also allow our field engineers to more efficiently reach and serve our clients in southern New England and beyond.  More to the point, BaselineES’s young team of engineers and staff really appreciate now being able to easily live in or near Portland, which has lots of recreational activities and a rocking nightlife not available in the Waterville and Augusta Maine communities where Baseline spent its early years.
