President
Tom Mathews is a recognized energy and refrigeration industry expert with decades of experience spanning supermarket operations, international consulting, and engineering innovation. He began his career at Hannaford Bros. Co., where he rose to Director of Energy and Mechanical Services, overseeing refrigeration and building automation across 150 facilities in 8 states. After leaving Hannaford in 1997, Tom built a consulting practice serving food retailers, refrigeration manufacturers, and energy services companies before co-founding Baseline in Shanghai in 2007 and launching BaselineUS that same year, which became BaselineES in 2016. His deep technical knowledge and real-world operational experience are the foundation of everything BaselineES delivers for its clients.
